Conquering Performance -Athlete Performance Training

By GARETH LYNCH

Hi there and thanks for visiting the blog while it’s only beginning its journey.

First, a little about me and the plan for the Conquering Performance…..

  • My background is in Strength and Conditioning and I have a huge passion for Personal Development/Growth.
  • I have the pleasure to work in High Performance with top level professionals across various roles.
  • I want to help share my knowledge and passion towards performance enhancement in all aspects of life on the pitch to off the pitch.

The idea behind the blog is to share knowledge, provide information and help support those that are starting on their journey to increased performance in all aspects of life.

Your path may not be clear to you yet but hopefully we can start to shed some light on it

“When your mind is foggy, all you need is the winds of wisdom!” ― Mehmet Murat ildan

The Plan

To start off, I want to begin with the basic physiological needs and how to maximise each one to increase your performance on the pitch, in the office or during your daily activities. Without these, basic and sometimes overlooked, foundations in place the rest of the blocks needed to perform at the highest level will coming crumbling down.

These basic physiological needs are at the pillar of my holistic model. I believe that better overall health leads to better performance. To increase your performance whether it be on the pitch, in the gym or in the office you need to consider all the elements in your life and how they interact.

Over the next few posts we will cover What your the basic physiological needs are, Why they are important to your performance and How you can maximise your performance in each of them.

In closing, real progress requires trying out new ideas, processing the knowledge gained and then decreasing the errors and lag between trials.

With that being said I want to highlight that this is a new blog and I am open to feedback and happy to cover other areas that interest you. So, if you have any areas in particular, where you would like to increase your performance please drop me a message and let me know.
